“C is for Colophon” – What is it? Why do you need it? And How to Create one…

atozpostcards_cfrontDon’t forget to add a colophon to one of your final pages. It lists all the technical details that went into the printing of your book: the location of the plant, the weight of the paper, how the cover was made, the types of computers used, how much books sold for, etc. Books include these for reference purposes only. (Want to see a real world example? Check the back of any Harry Potter book.)

To download a colophon template, go to the Adviser Resources section of at www.theyearbookladies.com.

*This entry is part of “The Yearbook Ladies’ A to Zs of Yearbook”
