2018 Yearbook U Information

IT’S THE STORY OF ONE YEAR. IN ONE BOOK. 

It all gets started JUNE 11 – 15

Come join us for three full days of all things yearbook. You’ll get all the tools you need to design the perfect yearbook that tells the story of your year at your school. Sessions include:

  • theme development
  • page design
  • photography
  • student coverage
  • copy and caption writing
  • marketing and sales strategies
  • staff organization
  • and more!

You will also have an opportunity to meet with a professional artist who will help you create your custom cover.

 CAMP DATES/TIMES

Tuesday, June 12 – Thursday, June 14      8:30AM – 4:00PM

Two Optional Days:

ADVISERS ONLY 

Monday, June 11    Noon – 4:30PM

A half day for advisers to enjoy a nice brunch and then brush up on the elements of advising and running a yearbook classroom, including staff roles, staff management, setting up your book for success, and even a quick photography session. Lots of hands-on activities and individual work time. Free to all advisers with student registrations, or $30 for the day.

ADVANCED WORK DAY

Friday, June 15      9:00AM -2:00PM

This optional day will focus on finishing all the prep work so you can hit the school year running. You will walk away with 5 completed templates in eDesign, a complete ladder, portrait placeholders on pages, some advanced eDesign skills and much more! Lunch is included in the additional $20/student due with standard camp registration.

OPTIONAL DAY REGISTRATION FEES:

 

MONDAY ADVISERS ONLY

With standard camp student registrations:   FREE

Adviser only:  $30

 

FRIDAY ADVANCED WORKDAY

All attendees with standard camp student registrations:   $20/student
 

*We cannot accept any registrations after June 4. 

 

How to Register:

Individual Student/Adviser Registration

(for attendees paying the entire registration fee)

IMPORTANT! If your school is paying all or a portion of the registration fee, please see your yearbook adviser. All forms and payment are being handled at the school. Otherwise:

  1. Download the Medical Release form.  It can be filled out electronically and emailed to [email protected], or printed, filled out and mailed to:

  2. Click the Registration button below to fill out the registration form and submit $120 (and optional $15 for Friday if applicable) plus $5 online processing fee via credit card or PayPal. Then email a copy of your payment receipt with your signed medical release form to [email protected].
  3. If paying by check, send payment with Medical Release form to the PO Box address above.

       PLEASE WRITE NAME OF STUDENT AND SCHOOL ON YOUR CHECK.

Multiple Student Registration

(for ADVISERS paying all or a portion of registration fees)

  1. Download the School Registration Form Here.
  2. Fill it out completely.
  3. Download the Code of Conduct/Medical Release Form, copy and distribute it to your students and have them return the completed form to you.
  4. When all the forms have been collected, mail them, along with ONE CHECK for the total amount to:
