Genie taught English for 11 years (six as a yearbook adviser) before joining Herff Jones where she enjoys working with over 60 schools from all over the state of Oregon. (She was even on her high school yearbook staff!) She’s presented design and theme sessions at state conferences and workshops in Colorado, California and Hawaii.  And while she loves helping schools create unique themes, getting creative in solving design issues with problem spreads….she’s most passionate about making sure the words tell the story!  She can also help schools dream big  while keeping them in budget.

Genie has two kids, Derek and Kendall who both live in Oregon with their families, and one grandson, Henry.  The cutest kid on the planet!  She loves travel and photography.
