Aperture refers to the opening that allows light to enter your camera’s lens. Most point-and-shoot cameras do not allow you to change this, but check your user guide to make sure.

The setting is called the “F-stop” on your SLR camera

The higher the number, the smaller the opening (i.e. less light enters the lens)

Have staff members experiment with the setting with a single subject
