Soon it will be time to tell your printing plant how many books you need this year. That means you are probably doing some last-minute sales pushes so that you can get the most accurate count. Here are a couple ideas that I saw at two of my schools.
Use our free posters as a starting point for sales, but feel free to spruce them up for the holidays. If they’ve been hanging up around school for a couple of months, students are probably ignoring them. Spend a class period adding Santa hats and white beards to the faces to stand out again. (That’s a new twist to “deck the halls”).
A second idea is to buy a digital picture frame and load about 30 of your VERY BEST yearbook photos onto it. Place the frame in the front office, library, or any other location that is visited by parents and students. Now add a decorated cardboard frame around the outside that includes the necessary information for ordering. Make it colorful and inviting.
Happy sales and please feel free to post your own great ideas for marketing and sales!
