The Holy Grail of all Yearbook Days. When the heavens open and your precious, glorious books come down on beams of light as the angels sing. Okay, so Floyd arrives in a noisy truck and drops off a bunch of giant boxes at the lunch line. Until that day, though, get your ducks in a row.

• Hold a school-wide signing party. Charge $2 admission to get books early, set up a student DJ to play music, and sell autograph supplements, pens, and pizza.
• Pass out books through advisory or homeroom to minimize long lines and confusion.
• Post lists of students who have pre-purchased their books in order to clear up any problems in advance.
• Most importantly, have FUN! Giving out the yearbooks should be a celebration for your staff as well.
