“Y is for YERD” – How to tell if you are one!

atozpostcards_yfrontYERD = Yearbook + Nerd. Here are five ways to tell if you are one:

  • While at the dentist’s office, you critique the layouts in magazines
  • You can debate the merits of Helvetica vs. Myriad Pro
  • Your parents have the yearbook room phone number on their speed dial
  • You’re a fan of “Yearbooks” on Facebook
  • While taking photos on your family vacation, you are writing the captions in your mind

If this describes you, then you’re a full-blown YERD. You may even qualify to be part of The Yerds, a Herff Jones discussion group for yearbook editors that takes place at the Spring CSPA and JEA/NSPA conventions. Ask us for more info on how you can apply!
